The Farm

I thought the Farm was a really cool place to go too.
I didn't really mud run because it stunk like rotten eggs.
I did like the kayaking and the motorbike riding.
the food was really good, and the woofers were really nice.
what was your best camp experience?

MOVIE MAKING MAGIC

WALT: Make Movies for the Te hiku film festival.
We had a lesson with the pro (Harley Alexander), he taught us the tricks and skills of being a professional movie maker.

* How you went about the process:
I really enjoyed making the movie with my friends, but there were some difficulties within the group but they were fixed, after everybody said what we needed to change.

* What you would change or improve if you did this again
the script because it was confusing at first, and maybe the teams members.

* Finish with a question for your audience
Would you like to do the Te hiku film festival.

Wacky Animal Report

Wacky Animal Literacy Project

LI: to merge two animals together to create a new wacky animal
that is represented by the combined characteristics of both the individual animals.

How did I do it: whaea Dom had prepared a project for my class.
We had to choose an animals I chose the
puckling, we also had to make stuff up about our animal.

Reflection: I really enjoyed making the name, I hated making stuff up, it hurt my brain.

Question for audience: what would be your wacky animal?

NZ History Animations

NZ History Animations

LI: to present an animation that shows our new learning about the different perspectives of
Māori and Europeans first encounters 250 years ago.

How did I do it: uploading images from google the putting them onto a google slide. On some of the
pictures I used remove bg, it removes the background of the image.

Reflection: I enjoyed uploading images to my slide. I hated writing stuff though, or just finding some of the
photos

Question for audience: Do you know captain James cook?

Science Fair

Me and my friend Louis entered the science fair.
We did elephant toothpaste as our project. Elephant toothpaste is a reaction that shoots foam into the air, it is made of hydrogen peroxide, yeast, warm water, food colouring and dish washing liquid. I loved doing this project because watching the foam rise was exciting and the higher the volume and percentage of the hydrogen peroxide the higher the foam.
Would you like to make elephant toothpaste?

This is a website I used to make elephant toothpaste.

Chromebook shortcuts

WALT post a screencastify of three favourite shortcuts and describe how to do them.
First I had to fill out a screencastify planning slide. second I had to film using screencastify.

Personally I hated doing this because filming is embarrassing.

have you ever used screencastify before?

My favourite book series is the last kids on earth and I used play fortnite but then my older brother sold the PC.  I have 5 dogs and 2 cats. I’m good at reading and writing and I enjoy DIY projects. I find some types of math challenging. One of my goals is to get better in working in a team.I’m looking forward to a good year.
